Invent It. Build It.

Partnership Type: Experiential, Pre-University Program

Invent It. Build It. is an experience designed to spark students’ (ages 10-18) interest in engineering and technology and encourage the adults in their lives to cultivate these interests. The event offers engaging, hands-on activities tailored to pre-college students, parents/guardians, and educators that emphasize the creative nature of engineering and provide access to many successful women in engineering and technology. Partnership includes:

• Opportunity to promote volunteer roles to employees. Volunteers must be SWE members and complete the required training by October 1, 2024, which includes Youth Protection, Role Models Matter, and IIBI Volunteer Orientation.
• Each student program room will have hands-on STEM activities where students will have the opportunity to test their final builds. This area in the STEM Exploring Program and the STEM Engaged Program rooms will be co-branded with logo designs.
• Opportunity to provide swag to attendees. Confirmation must be provided to SWE staff by August 15, 2024.
• Logo recognition on signage and website. 
• Thank you recognition on social platforms and digital communication materials.
